Hotel owner Lavkesh Bajaj ( Another serious revelation has come to light regarding Lavkesh Bajaj. According to the investigating agencies, during interrogation, Lavkesh Bajaj has allegedly admitted that he had helped Bangladeshi infiltrators get identity documents made at his address for financial gain. According to sources related to the investigation, it is alleged that Lavkesh Bajaj allowed some people to use his address to get local identity. Security agencies are now trying to find out how many people’s documents were prepared through this network and who other people were involved in it.
According to Delhi Police, during interrogation, Lavkesh Bajaj’s involvement has come to light in cases related to two Bangladeshi nationals registered in the year 2025. Police claim that Bajaj admitted during interrogation that he knew that the persons concerned were Bangladeshi citizens, yet he helped them get their identity documents made in India. According to a statement issued by the police, despite owning assets worth crores of rupees, Bajaj allegedly got the documents of Bangladeshi citizens prepared by using his address for financial gain. Investigation has revealed that everything from Aadhaar card to passport was made at his address.
Now Lavkesh’s troubles increased
Police claim that he did this despite knowing that they were not Indian citizens. The allegation is that apart from getting the documents prepared, they were also provided accommodation and shelter in Delhi. After the latest revelations, the police is now in the process of registering another FIR against Lavkesh Bajaj. The investigating agencies are trying to find out whether he had helped only two people or whether he had a role in more such cases.
The police are now investigating on several important points, including whether Lavkesh Bajaj also got the documents made for other foreign infiltrators? Was he part of a larger network? Has he also been involved in other illegal or criminal activities? Which people had a role in preparing Aadhaar card, passport and other documents? Was the connivance of any government employee or agent also involved in this entire matter? The investigating agencies are also examining the entire chain of documents, verification process and contacts of the concerned persons. Officials believe that as the investigation progresses, more important revelations may be made in this case.

According to sources, during interrogation, Lavkesh Bajaj admitted that he had been working with a “everything goes in Delhi” mentality for a long time. When he was questioned about the violation of security standards and other rules at the hotel, he reportedly said that he was told that such irregularities were normal and such work is done in the capital. This thinking can be a major reason for serious negligence in hotel operations. Investigation has already revealed that many questions are being raised regarding the adherence to security standards in the hotel. 21 people died in the fire incident, after which various departments have also started investigation. Meanwhile, allegations of making identity documents for Bangladeshi citizens and allegedly harboring them have made the matter more serious. The police is now also investigating whether Lavkesh Bajaj has been involved in other illegal activities by similarly ignoring the rules.
On 4 days police remand
Meanwhile, Saket court on Thursday sent hotel owner Lavkesh Bajaj to four days police custody. The court said in its order that the allegations leveled against the accused are of serious nature. The case also includes such crimes, in which if convicted, there is a provision of punishment up to life imprisonment. The court acknowledged that the investigation is still in its initial and important stage, hence it is necessary to interrogate the accused in custody. Police say that many important aspects have to be investigated regarding the fire in the hotel, alleged violation of safety standards, negligence in hotel operations and other allegations that have come to light recently. For this reason, Luvkesh Bajaj is being interrogated in detail. The investigating agencies are now also investigating the role of other people associated with the operation of the hotel. The police are especially busy searching for hotel manager Jai Mishra and accountant and other key persons. Officials believe that after interrogating these people, many important facts related to the hotel’s operation, license, security arrangements and financial transactions can come to light.
