West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee reiterated the Trinamool Congress’s commitment to Ma-Mati-Manush (mother, motherland, and people) and vowed to continue its struggle for the common people.
In a social media post on the occasion of the TMC Foundation Day, Banerjee emphasized that the party would not bow to any malevolent forces.
“On the occasion of the Foundation Day of the All India Trinamool Congress, I extend my heartfelt greetings and congratulations to all. With the aim of serving Ma-Mati-Manush (Mother, Motherland, and People), the journey of the Trinamool Congress began on this day in 1998,” she said in the post.
The Chief Minister noted that the core guiding principle of this historic journey has always been the honor of the motherland, the development of Bengal, and the protection of the democratic rights of the people.
“Even today, every worker and supporter of our party remains steadfast and committed to this goal. I humbly pay my respects and homage to their tireless efforts and sacrifices,” she added.
