Mamta’s attack on Eid: Attack on BJP, message of protecting people’s rights in voter list dispute, see what the Chief Minister said…
West Bengal. The politics of West Bengal seems to be heating up amid the election atmosphere. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, while addressing the public on the Red Road in Kolkata on the occasion of Eid, made a scathing attack on the BJP and gave a strong message from her party regarding the changes in the voter list.
Controversy over voter list-
Mamata Banerjee alleged that the BJP-led central government is trying to snatch away people’s voting rights by making changes in the voter list before the elections. Trinamool Congress says that the impact of this process is especially visible in minority areas.
The Chief Minister warned that no injustice would be tolerated and the party would stand till the last breath to protect the rights of the people.
Strong message and election gesture-
Mamta said that those who are trying to divide Bengal and create a rift in the society will not be allowed to succeed. He stressed that his party will protect democracy and people’s rights at all costs.
Message of unity and brotherhood-
The Chief Minister mentioned the mutual brotherhood of Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs and Christians in Bengal and made it clear that the politics of hatred or division will have no place in the state. His statement is being considered a big political signal in the election environment.
Trinamool Congress national general secretary and MP Abhishek Banerjee said that efforts to create Hindu-Muslim conflict will fail and the brotherhood of Bengal will remain intact. He appealed to the people to think without the prism of religion and maintain unity.
