Man United make enquiries over Quenda availability
Portuguese outlet To Ball report that Manchester United have already initiated contact with Sporting over the possibility of signing Quenda next summer.
Securing a deal for Quenda would see him join the ranks of legendary players who transitioned from Estadio Jose Alvalade to Old Trafford and achieved superstar status.
This distinguished list features the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Nani, Marcos Rojoand current club captain Bruno Fernandes.
United are believed to be in the market for a right-winger, with Antony having struggled to find his feet since arriving in England, and now potentially facing a period on the sidelines through injury.
However, the Red Devils’ recent track record with big-money signings has been a bit of a mixed bag, and after another costly summer, shelling out £83m for the 17-year-old could be a risky proposition.
