Man near the moon after 53 years, NASA’s explosive mission begins

Artemis-II Moon Mission: Nearly 53 years after NASA last sent Apollo 17, humans are once again going to reach the Moon. Artemis-II mission is launching on 1 April 2026. In desi style, “Eyes on the moon again, and this time the preparations are very strong”.

What is the plan of Artemis-II mission?

Artemis II is a 10-day mission, in which the spacecraft will orbit around the moon and return. Orion spacecraft will be used in this, which will be launched from the world’s most powerful rocket Space Launch System. That means “will not land directly, will just go around the moon and return”.

4 astronauts, history is about to be made

Four astronauts are going in this mission—Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch and Jeremy Hansen. The special thing is that for the first time a woman and an African-American astronaut will also go to the moon. Speak in desi – “The team is completely strong and ready to make history”.

How will the 10 days of the mission pass?

Testing will take place in Earth’s orbit for the first 2 days. On the third-fourth day, the spacecraft will move towards the moon through “Trans-Lunar Injection”. The moon will revolve around the moon for 5 to 8 days. Then the return in 9-10 days, which is the hardest part—because the speed will be around 40,000 km/h. That means “the last stop is the most dangerous”.
