Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu inches closder to 350 crore mark at worldwide box office

Chiranjeevi’s Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu (MSVG) has done a fantastic collection in the second week and inched closer to Rs 350 crore mark at the worldwide box office in 11 days.
Mana Shankara Varapasad Garu took a sensational start at ticket counters and held well in the following days. The movie surpassed Rs 200 crore gross mark at the worldwide box office. It became the highest grossing film for Chiranjeevi in just four days. It is a rare feat to achieve an actor of his age group.
Despite clashing with three movies, Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu continued to take the box office by a storm. The movie collected over 80 crore at the box office in the second weekend. The movie remained rocksteady at the ticket counters and collected Rs 40 crore gross in the weekdays.
Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu has collected Rs 120 crore gross at the worldwide box office in the second week, taking global collection to Rs 340 crore gross in 11 days. The movie emerged as the highest grossing movie of this Sankranthi season, beating Prabhas’ much-anticipated film The Raja Saab.

Made on budget of Rs 200 crore, Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu earned Rs 110 crore from the same of its theatrical rights. The movie is estimated to have fetched Rs 170 crore for its distributors, who have got benefit share of Rs 60 crore in just 11 days. The film is still doing well at the box office and it is expected to even more profit share in the coming days.
Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is an action comedy film, which follows a national security officer who seeks to protect his estranged wife and children, seeing it as a chance to re-unite with them. The movie has been written and directed by Anil Ravipudi and produced by Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela. Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Nayanthara and Catherine Tresa are in the lead roles.
