Fierce altercation between Thar-tempo drivers on the narrow road of Manali, video goes viral

Thar Tempo Clash: There was chaos on a narrow hill road in Himachal Pradesh’s Manali when Mahindra’s SUV Thar and a tempo stopped head-on.

An argument broke out between the two drivers as to who would give way first. The video of this entire incident was shared by the off-roader on X (formerly Twitter), after which the clip quickly went viral.

Unbelievable!! Sorry to say, but some people really don’t deserve to own a car. This is basic driving, and clearly this person doesn’t even understand that.

Dispute between Thar and tempo driver

It can be seen in the video that both the vehicles are standing together at the tight turn of the hill. The person making the video from behind tells that a Punjab number Thar is parked in front and policemen are also present at the spot.

According to him, despite the Thar driver having enough space on his side, he was asking the tempo driver to move inwards. It was claimed in the video that the police was trying to explain, but the driver was not ready to agree and was repeatedly turning the car towards the tempo.

Responsible driving is necessary in hilly areas

Strong reactions were seen on social media after the incident. Many users said that experience and patience are necessary for driving in hilly areas. The person making the video also advised that if you do not have experience of driving in the mountains then it is better to hire a local driver.

The user wrote in his post that just buying a Thar does not make one an expert on mountain roads. This incident has once again sparked a debate about safe and responsible driving in hilly areas.
