Manifest’s Melissa Roxburgh Tracks Down High-Profile Criminals

A brand new The Hunting Party trailer for NBC‘s forthcoming crime drama thriller has been released, starring Manifest alum Melissa Roxburgh. The series is scheduled to premiere on February 3, 2025 on NBC.

This marks Roxburgh’s first major TV project as the lead, following Manifest’s series finale ended its four-season run last year. She also recently had brief appearances in NBC’s Quantum Leap and CBS’ Tracker.

What happens in The Hunting Party trailer?

The video features Roxburgh as an ex-FBI agent who gets enlisted to join an elite government task force. The mission will require her to profile and track down a number of highly-dangerous criminals, who escaped a special prison. The trailer also highlights the different kinds of twisted serial killers they’ll be facing during their search.

The Hunting Party is created and written by JJ Bailey, who is also set as the showrunner along with Jake Coburn. Besides Roxburgh, the show will also star Patrick Sabongui as Ryan Hassani, Sara Garcia as Jennifer Morales, Josh McKenzie as Shane Florence, and more. Bailey and Coburn are also executive producing the project. It is a production by Universal Television.

“When a secret prison suffers a mysterious explosion that allows the nation’s most violent serial killers to escape, a former profiler is thrust back into a thrilling game of cat and mouse. Alongside a team of soldiers, spies and special agents, she has no choice but to track down and recapture these dangerous criminals… before they kill again,” reads the logline.
