Manikkam Tagore becomes Tamil Nadu Congress President, replacing Selvaperunthagai
Tamil Nadu Congress has got its new president. Party MP B. Manikkam Tagore has been appointed President of Tamil Nadu Pradesh Congress Committee. He is the outgoing president K. Will replace Selvaperunthagai. In the letter signed by Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal, it is written that the appointment of Manikkam Tagore will come into effect with immediate effect.
KC Venugopal said that Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has done B. Manikkam Tagore has been appointed President of Tamil Nadu Pradesh Congress Committee with immediate effect. Whereas the outgoing party president K. Appreciates the contribution of Selvaperunthagai.

Manickam Tagore is MP from Virudhunagar.
Manikkam Tagore is the Lok Sabha MP from Virudhunagar. Apart from getting the responsibility of State President in Tamil Nadu, he is also in-charge of the party in Andhra Pradesh and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
