Manjot Kalra sent to judicial custody
According to PTI report, after the arrest of Manjot Kalra, he was produced before the magistrate, where the court has sent him to judicial custody till July 31. Another Indian citizen Yuvraj Pushp has also been arrested in this case. The court has also ordered to send him to judicial custody.

India won the World Cup
27-year-old former Indian cricketer Manjot Kalra and current captain of the Indian Test and ODI team Shubhman Gill have played together. Both were part of the Indian team that won the 2018 ICC Under-19 World Cup. In the final of this tournament, Kalra played an important role in India winning the title by playing an unbeaten inning of 101 runs.

In the year 2020, in the case of age fraud, the then Ombudsman of Delhi and District Cricket Association had suspended Manjot Kalra from playing in any age category tournament for two years.
