Manjot Kalra, who made the Indian Under-19 team the world champion with his century in the year 2018, had to pay a heavy price for one mistake and lost his career. After winning the World Cup, Manjot Kalra was banned by the Delhi and District Cricket Association in the age fraud case. However, later Manjot Kalra told on his YouTube channel that the ban imposed on him has been lifted.

In the Under 19 World Cup final, the Indian team was chasing the target of 217 runs to win the title against Australia. India had suffered setbacks in the form of Prithvi Shaw and Shubman Gill. But Manjot remained aside. By standing till the end, he not only completed his century but also won the title for India.

Manjot played an inning of 101 runs in 102 balls in this match. During this period, 8 fours and 3 sixes also came from his bat. Manjot did wonders throughout the tournament. He scored 252 runs in 5 innings of 6 matches at an excellent average of 84. Manjot, who was away from cricket, started his YouTube channel in the year 2023, which he named Second Innings with Manjot Kalra.

Indian players like Abhishek Sharma, Mayank Yadav have also come on Manjot's channel and shared their journey. 25 year old Manjot got a chance to play only 1 first class match for Delhi. He scored 19 runs in this match. While playing 2 T20 matches, Kalra scored 13 runs. He played his last home match for Delhi in March 2021. After this Kalra was not seen on the cricket field.
