Manmohan Singh Funeral: Former Prime Minister merged with Panchatatva, the country bid last farewell with tearful eyes

Delhi: The last rites of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh were performed at Nigam Bodh Ghat in Delhi. The entire nation bid farewell to the former Prime Minister with tearful eyes. Manmohan Singh's daughter lit his funeral pyre. He was admitted to Delhi AIIMS on December 26 after his health deteriorated, where he died on Thursday night.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Kalpana Soren and Deepika Pandey Singh paid tribute to Dr. Manmohan Singh, cremation will be held at Nigam Bodh Ghat.
President Draupardi Murmu was present along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Minister Amit Shah at the funeral of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi also attended the funeral of Manmohan Singh. Before the last rites, Manmohan Singh's mortal remains were kept for last darshan at the Congress headquarters for about an hour.
