Technical progress of police: What did Baltej Pannu say?

Discussing the technological progress of Punjab Police to tighten the noose on gangsters, Pannu said that our police has now become completely hi-tech. Now the help of Artificial Intelligence is being taken to crack down on gangsters. Punjab Police has prepared a state-of-the-art ‘voice bank’ in which voice samples of more than 84,000 criminals and suspects have been taken.

He told that while recently exposing the Shambhu blast module, the police have arrested all the accused, who have also accepted their involvement in the old blasts. All these arrests have been possible with the help of this technology.

Pannu said that Punjab Police now has a huge database of more than 3 lakh 90 thousand criminals active across the world. With the help of voice recognition system, the identity of criminals and their locations will now be known in just a few minutes.

Pannu said that anyone trying to disturb the peace of Punjab will no longer be able to escape. With the help of this advanced technology, the high-tech police of the state will find every criminal even from the underworld.
