He further said that today is a very special day. Today is NCC day. I myself have been an NCC candidate. Last time and this time, PM Modi specifically discussed digital arrest and made people aware.

PM Modi further said through Mann Ki Baat that NCC inculcates the spirit of discipline, leadership and service in the youth. Whenever any disaster occurs, NCC cadets are definitely present there to help. Today, continuous work is being done to strengthen NCC. Now the number of girls cadets in NCC has increased by 40 percent.

Mahakumbh of youth on 12th January

PM Modi further said that January 12 is the 162nd birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. This time it will be celebrated in a special way. On this occasion, Mahakumbh of youth is going to be held at Bharat Mandapam on 11th and 12th January. Crores of youth will participate in this. You will remember that from the ramparts of the Red Fort, I have called upon such youth to enter politics. Whose family has no political background. Such campaigns will be run to connect lakhs of youth with politics. Experts from India and abroad will come in this. I will also be present in this as much as possible. How can the country take these ideas forward? A blueprint will be prepared for this. This is going to be a big opportunity for the future generation of the country.

awareness of technology

PM Modi further said that in Mann Ki Baat we often talk about such youth who are working for the society without any emotion. There are many youth who are engaged in finding solutions to people's problems. Virendra of Lucknow is making the elders of his area aware about technology. In many cities, youth are coming forward to make the elders a stakeholder in the digital revolution. Mahesh of Bhopal is making many elderly people aware about making payments through mobile.

Beware of digital arrest

Apart from this, youth are also being made aware to protect themselves from digital arrest. I discussed it in the last episode. Elderly people mostly become victims of this type of crime. We have to explain to the people that there is no provision like digital arrest. I am happy that young friends are taking part in this work and inspiring others too.

In 'Mann Ki Baat', PM Modi further said that a 'mini India' is situated in Guyana, thousands of kilometers away from India. About 180 years ago, people from India were taken to Guyana to work in the fields and for other jobs. Today, people of Indian origin living in Guyana are leading Guyana in every field of politics, business, education and culture. The President of Guyana, Dr. Irfan Ali, is also of Indian origin and is proud of his Indian heritage.
