Mann Ki Baat: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in Mann Ki Baat, 'Big role of youth in developed India'

PM Modi further talked about the important role of youth in shaping a 'developed India' and said that their energy, skills and commitment are essential for the progress of the country. PM Modi also announced the 'Develop India Young Leaders Dialogue', scheduled to be held at the Bharat Mandapam on January 11-12, 2025, on the 162nd birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. The objective of this initiative is to bring together youth from across the country who have leadership qualities to discuss and plan the way forward for a developed India.
He further said, 'Today is a very special day. Today is NCC day. As soon as the name of NCC comes up, we remember our school-college days. I myself have been an NCC candidate, so I can say that the experience gained from this is invaluable for me. NCC inculcates the spirit of discipline, leadership and service in the youth.
The Prime Minister further said that 'You must have seen that NCC candidates are always present to help in every disaster. During this, PM Modi also appealed to everyone to join NCC.
PM Modi reminded that 'from the ramparts of the Red Fort, he had called upon such youth who have no political background to enter politics. Many special campaigns are going on in the country to connect such 1 lakh new youth with politics.
