Manoj Muntashir furious over ‘Pandit’ option in UP Inspector Recruitment Exam, says action should be taken against those responsible

Mumbai On the very first day of the Uttar Pradesh Police Sub-Inspector Recruitment Exam 2026 (Uttar Pradesh Police Sub-Inspector Recruitment Exam 2026), there has been a huge uproar over the choice of a question in the examination held on March 14. A new debate has now erupted regarding the word ‘Pandit’ in the option ‘changes as per the occasion’ in a question asked in the Hindi section.

After this question paper went viral, reactions of many famous personalities are coming to the fore. Now the post of famous Indian lyricist Manoj Muntashir has also surfaced on this matter. Manoj Muntashir has made a post on X raising questions on this question. He wrote in the post that ‘In the Inspector Recruitment Examination, the question has been asked ‘What is the name of the one who changes as per the occasion’ and ‘Pandit’ is written in the option.

If the government does not immediately punish and suspend whoever has prepared this question paper, then every upper caste and Brahmin of this country will get a clear signal that there is no one in power to listen to us. On behalf of all the upper castes, I express my open displeasure and strongly condemn this deliberate and condemnable act.

Some supported, some raised questions

After his post, some people supported him, while some people raised questions on the government. Apart from this, some people even raised questions on Manoj Muntashir by saying that you are not concerned about the society while writing obscene words in your songs.

The matter reached BJP central leadership, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak expressed displeasure over this matter.

However, this issue has now reached the central leadership of BJP. Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak expressed his displeasure by posting on this matter and said that strict action will be taken against those responsible. At present, the officials of the Recruitment Board seem to be avoiding saying anything in the whole matter.
