Investigative agencies say that there may be a well-planned conspiracy behind purchasing the phones and keeping them switched off for a long time. Along with this, initial investigation has also revealed that the name of a Karachi based bank was mentioned in the documents related to the supply of a phone. The surprising thing is that the name of this bank has also come up in some such cases in the past, in which the funding of terrorist organizations was investigated. However, no direct role of the bank has been confirmed yet.
