Investigative agencies say that there may be a well-planned conspiracy behind purchasing the phones and keeping them switched off for a long time. Along with this, initial investigation has also revealed that the name of a Karachi based bank was mentioned in the documents related to the supply of a phone. The surprising thing is that the name of this bank has also come up in some such cases in the past, in which the funding of terrorist organizations was investigated. However, no direct role of the bank has been confirmed yet. Along with this, some photographs, location related data and maps were also found during the forensic investigation of the phone. A picture of a tent is also said to be included in these, which is expected to provide important information about the activities of the terrorists. According to officials, before the attack the terrorists were mainly using long distance radio communication equipment.
