Marco Rubio calls Trump ‘stupid’! The US State Department deleted the post in the face of controversy
US President Donald Trump compared India to ‘hell’. The debate continues over the remarks made by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Delhi. The question arises, while talking about this topic, is he calling his ‘boss’ a fool? Later, he was seen deleting the post from social media. From which it is clear, he has to be uncomfortable in this matter.
What exactly did Rubio say? Regarding Trump’s comments, he asked, “Which comments? Who made them?” That’s when the journalist brought up Trump’s ‘hell’ comment. Rubio said, “There’s a lot of comments on social media and other places. Because every country in the world has stupid people. America is no exception. There are stupid people here, who make stupid comments all the time.” His statement was also posted from the US State Department’s X handle. But later it appears that the post is no more. Perhaps it was clear to the administration that Rubio had made such comments to Trump.
Exactly who Rubio was referring to as ‘idiot’ is unclear, however. But informed sources believe that Rubio indirectly called Trump’s comments as ‘stupid’. Many have been able to quickly come to such a conclusion by recalling Trump’s mess with him in the past. But the controversy did not end here. After returning home, an American reporter pressed Rubio about this. Rubio said, “I didn’t know who the reporter was talking about. I thought he was probably talking about people posting things online.”
Even after saying that, Ruby probably understood that his comment might not be enough. “If the president didn’t want me to be here, I wouldn’t be here,” he was heard saying. Although he tried to hide the fact that he praised Trump in this way, informed circles believe that Rubio knew very well in his heart who he used the word “stupid” to address.
