Marcus Stoinis scripted history for Australia and entered the record books during the third and final T20I against Pakistan at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart. Stoinis scored an unbeaten 61 runs off 27 balls as Australia won the contest by 7 wickets to clinch the series 3-0.

During the match, Stoinis became the first Aussie player to accumulate 330 runs and take 21 wickets in a calendar year in the shortest format of the game. He is the fourth cricketer to achieve this landmark.

Shakib al Hasan was the first player to reach the record. In 2021, he scored 327 runs and dismissed 25 batters. Hardik Pandya joined this list in 2022. He managed 607 runs and scalped 20 wickets.

Sikandar Raza is the only cricketer to achieve this record twice. He scored 735 runs and picked up 25 wickets in 2022. In 2024, he managed 462 runs and dismissed 21 batters in 2024.

The Men in Green won the ODI series against Australia by a margin of 2-1. However, the Men in Yellow clinched the T20I series 3-0.

Mohammad Rizwan led Pakistan in five games and was rested for the third T20I. Pakistan will now travel to Zimbabwe.
