‘Market decline, public distressed due to gas crisis’… Arvind Kejriwal’s attack on the Centre, questions raised on preparations

Tezzbuzz Desk – Arvind Kejriwal has made a scathing attack on the central government regarding the economic condition of the country amid the ongoing tension in the Middle East. The national convenor of Aam Aadmi Party alleged that the government’s lack of preparation has pushed the country towards an economic crisis, the impact of which is clearly visible on the common people.

‘Government’s preparation inadequate’

Kejriwal said that the Central Government of India was not prepared in advance for the possible crisis in the Middle East. He raised the question that when the whole world was aware of this situation, why did the government not make alternative arrangements in time.

Falling market and increasing difficulties

He claimed that the stock market in the country is continuously falling and this is directly impacting the business. Many small and big businesses are on the verge of closure. Along with this, raising the issue of shortage of LPG, he said that people are standing in long queues for gas cylinders in the scorching heat.

According to Kejriwal, this situation has hit the migrant laborers the most, who are facing employment crisis. He said that the livelihood of the workers is being affected due to the work being stopped.

Concern over fall in rupee also

He also described the decline in the Indian currency as a serious issue and said that the rupee has reached a record low, which is a sign of economic instability.

Taking aim at the Central Government, Kejriwal said why the burden of every crisis is put on the common people only. He asked why the people of the country have to pay the price for the policy failures of the government.
