Marriage against family, now Monalisa’s life in danger? Demand for security by releasing video
Monalisa, who went viral during Mahakumbh, is in the news these days about her marriage. She went against her family and married her Muslim boyfriend Farman Khan in Kerala. After this marriage, a controversy has started on social media regarding “Love Jihad”. Many people are questioning this relationship, although Monalisa has completely rejected these allegations.
Asked for help by releasing video
A video has been shared on Monalisa’s Facebook page, in which she is seen with her husband Farman Khan. In the video, both are seen appealing for help from the police, media and the Chief Minister. The couple says that they are continuously receiving death threats and are demanding security. He also told that he is writing a letter to the authorities pleading for his safety.
Said thanks to Kerala government
Earlier, the couple had also thanked the Kerala government. He said that the government supported him and also provided security. Monalisa told that her family is not happy with this marriage and is receiving constant threats, hence she needs security.
The wedding took place in the temple
Monalisa and Farman Khan got married on March 11 at Arumanoor Sri Nainar Deva Temple in Kerala. The pictures and videos of the wedding went viral on social media, after which this matter became more discussed.
Controversy over ‘Love Jihad’
Sanoj Mishra, who cast Monalisa in his film, had named this marriage as “Love Jihad”, after which the controversy increased further.
However, both Monalisa and Farman have clarified that this is not a case of “love jihad”. Monalisa said that she will remain a Hindu and is not changing her religion.
