Her in-laws termed the incident as suicide. When the family members of the deceased received information about the incident, the family members came to know about the incident. They informed the local police about the incident. On receipt of the information, the police took possession of the body and sent it to Bettiah for post-mortem. The mother of the deceased told that my daughter’s in-laws, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, brother-in-law and other members of the family together strangled her to death with a dupatta and are calling it suicide and everyone has fled from the spot.
Let us tell you that the deceased’s husband Karan had come out of the house before the incident, seeing the opportunity, all the in-laws committed the incident and started making it look like suicide, however, the police reached the incident site and started investigation. The information about the incident was given to the senior police administration by the local police, where the FSL team reached and started investigating thoroughly at all the points of the incident. On May 12, the hospital administration conducted post-mortem of the dead body and handed it over to the family members. Let us tell you that The deceased’s two children, one of two years old and one of four months, are said to be Deeksha Gupta alias Anjali Kumari, 26 year old wife of Karan Kumar, resident of Lauria Naya Tola Ward No. 5 under Lauria police station area.
