Sukhoi-30 Crash: The atmosphere was very emotional on Saturday in Kakrana village of Rohtak district of Haryana. There was silence all around, the flames of the pyre were rising and people’s eyes were moist. During this time, the most heart touching scene was of the woman who was standing silently in uniform holding the photo of martyred Squadron Leader Anuj Sharma in her hand. Tears were continuously flowing from her eyes, which she was repeatedly trying to wipe with a handkerchief.
She was the fiancee of Anuj Sharma and herself is an Indian Air Force officer. Both pain and pride were clearly visible on his face. The video of this emotional moment is becoming increasingly viral on social media.

Actually, Anuj Sharma was martyred in the Sukhoi‑30 fighter jet accident in Assam. After the accident, when his mortal remains were brought to his native village Kakrana, there was a wave of mourning in the entire village. He was cremated with state honours.
Funeral with state honors
His fiancee was present in uniform during the funeral. Anuj’s photo was in his hand, there were tears in his eyes, but his face was calm. This scene touched the heart of everyone present there. This was not just the farewell of a martyr, but also a glimpse of a love story that remained incomplete. Anuj’s younger brother lit the funeral pyre. The parents were crying and the villagers stood silently and witnessed this emotional moment.

Accidents have happened with Sukhoi before
Let us tell you that Sukhoi-30MKI is a frontline multi-role fighter jet of the Indian Air Force and it plays an important role in the air defense capability of the country. Accidents related to this have come to light earlier also. Earlier in August 2019, an IAF Sukhoi-30MKI had crashed in a paddy field near Tezpur, Assam during a routine training mission. At that time both the pilots were successful in getting out safely.
