How will EMI be calculated?

Suppose you make a down payment of Rs 1 lakh while buying a car and take the remaining amount as a loan from the bank. If the loan tenure is 5 years and the interest rate is around 9%, there is a clear difference in the EMIs of both the cars. According to this calculation, the base model of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx will cost around Rs 13,000 to Rs 14,000 per month in EMI. Whereas for Tata Nexon the EMI can be around Rs 14,500 to 15,500 per month. That means the EMI of both these cars can vary by around Rs 1,000 to 1,500 per month.

Which car would be more suitable?

If your budget is a bit tight and you want to pay low EMI, Maruti Suzuki Fronx can be a good option for you. The price of this car is relatively low and its mileage is also considered good. On the other hand, if you want a stronger body, more safety features and a powerful engine, then the Tata Nexon can also be a good choice. However, the EMI for these cars may be slightly higher.

Fronx is more affordable in terms of EMI alone. However, while choosing a car it is very important to consider not only EMI, but also features, safety and your needs.
