Maruti Suzuki eVitara Electric SUV Owner Reveals Why He Bought It Over Every Other EV [Video]
This detailed ownership review of the newly launched Maruti Suzuki e Vitara has been shared on YouTube by RNK Autos on their channel. It starts off with the owner highlighting that he recently bought this SUV and has already driven it over 1,500 km and has noted all the things, good and bad, about it.
Following this, the vlogger then firstly asks the owner about his decision to buy the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara over the other electric cars. He asked the owner about not opting for the Hyundai Creta Electric, Mahindra BE 6, MG Windsor EV, and many others available in the market. To this, the owner replied that he was waiting for a long time for Maruti Suzuki to offer an EV due to their reliability and service network.
Hence, when the e Vitara was finally launched this year, he opted for it. Moving ahead, the vlogger then asked the owner about the exact variant and pricing of his e Vitara, after which the owner mentions that he has bought the top-of-the-line Alpha variant of this SUV, for which he paid an on-road price of Rs 21.5 lakh in Delhi.

He added that the Delhi government is offering a subsidy as well. As for the ex-showroom price of the e Vitara, it is Rs 19.6 lakh. Soon after this, the vlogger then starts asking about the range offered by the e Vitara. He mentions that he is getting the ARAI-certified range of 543 km. The owner then highlights that although he has not been able to get the 543 km range, on his recent trip on the highway with air conditioning on, he was able to get a range of 510 km.
The owner continued that in the city, with the air conditioning on, this SUV offers a range of around 470 to 480 km. As for the power, the vlogger questions whether the 172 bhp and 193 Nm torque offered by the e Vitara is enough, to which the owner replies that, according to him, it is adequate and he does not feel that it’s underpowered.

Moving ahead in the video, the next question which the vlogger asks is related to the features and comfort of the vehicle. The owner then replies that, being the top-of-the-line variant, the e Vitara is very well loaded. The only problem he faces, being a 6.1-foot driver, is that his knees slightly bump into the steering wheel. However, he added that slightly shorter people will not find any issues with the ergonomics.
The owner then gets asked by the vlogger to sit in the rear of the SUV and show the space for tall people. The owner then demonstrates that three people can easily sit in the rear of this SUV. His only complaint is that the headroom could have been slightly better, and the under-thigh support is also slightly less. Apart from these, overall, he thinks it’s decently spacious.

One of the main features which the owner highlights in the video is the snow mode. He mentions that he recently got stuck at a rough patch, and the vehicle was not able to come out of the situation. However, after pressing the snow mode button on the centre console, the vehicle was easily able to get over the obstacle.
