The MG Windsor EV is priced between ₹14 lakh and ₹18 lakh (ex-showroom). Meanwhile, the Tata Curvv EV, which offers a smaller battery pack than the eVitara, is priced from ₹17.49 lakh to ₹22.24 lakh (ex-showroom).

eVitara – Key Details

The eVitara is based on Suzuki’s HEARTECT-e platform, which has been developed specifically for EVs. It is available with two battery pack options: 49 kWh and 61 kWh. The Delta variant gets the smaller battery pack, while the Zeta and Alpha variants come with the larger 61 kWh unit.

evitara launch timeline revealed

Both versions feature a single-motor setup powering the front wheels. The 49 kWh version produces 144 bhp and 189 Nm of peak torque, while the 61 kWh version generates 174 bhp and 189 Nm of torque. The smaller battery pack offers a claimed range of 440 km, whereas the larger one delivers a claimed range of 543 km.

Internationally, a dual-motor AWD version of the eVitara is also available, though it is unlikely to be introduced in India. The announced prices are introductory and may be revised in the future.

As for deliveries, they are expected to be slightly delayed. Deliveries are likely to begin around July this year. The delay is reportedly due to production limitations, as the brand is trying to balance EV production, exports, and other high-demand models manufactured at its Gujarat plant.
