Maruti Suzuki Fronx facelift spied testing: Big changes, features & more
As per the spied image, the overall silhouette of the Fronx looks the same as the outgoing model, it’s expected to get a complete redesign at the front and rear. The test mule is still heavily camouflaged, so it’s tough to make out any clear design changes for now. It may also feature a new lower grille design. In profile, the update is likely to include newly designed 16-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, the SUV is expected to receive a revised tailgate, a new lower bumper, and subtle updates to the connected LED taillamps.
On the inside, the overall cabin layout is expected to remain unchanged, though it could receive a new interior theme. Features such as a free-standing 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic LED headlamps with DRLs, wireless charging, automatic climate control, connected car tech, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, Arkamys-tuned sound system, cruise control, height-adjustable driver’s seat, rear AC vents, auto-dimming IRVM, HUD display, 360-degree camera, up to 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, and ESP with hill-hold assist will continue. Additionally, the facelifted model features a single pane sunroof, ambient lighting, a new cluster and more.

In terms of powertrain, there are no confirmations as of now. It’s expected to continue with the same set of engine options which include a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine with 89 bhp of power and 113 Nm of torque. The other engine option is a 1.0-litre booster jet turbocharged petrol engine with 100 bhp of power and 148 Nm of torque.
