Maruti Suzuki has recorded a significant sales milestone with the Victoris SUV. Launched in September 2025, the midsize SUV surpassed the 1 lakh unit sales mark in just nine months. By the end of May 2026, total sales stood at exactly 100,165 units. This rapid adoption makes the Victoris the fastest vehicle in the company portfolio to reach this figure, outpacing the popular Grand Vitara. The new SUV now accounts for a solid 14 percent of the total utility vehicle sales for the brand.
With prices starting at Rs 10.50 lakh, the Victoris stepped into a highly competitive segment dominated by the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Honda Elevate. Achieving one lakh sales in such a short span highlights strong consumer acceptance across multiple demographics. The numbers reflect a clear shift in buyer preference towards vehicles offering a mix of premium features, hybrid fuel efficiency, and established aftersales support through the Arena dealership network.
A major driver of these sales volumes is the diverse powertrain line-up. Buyers can choose from a naturally aspirated petrol engine, a strong hybrid, and a factory fitted CNG option. The standard 1.5 litre K Series petrol engine produces 103 hp and is available with either a five speed manual or a six speed torque converter automatic transmission. For those seeking maximum efficiency, the 1.5 litre strong hybrid variant generates 116 hp and pairs with an e-CVT gearbox.
