Maruti Suzuki will create a stir in 2026, 4 big launches from electric SUV to MPV
The year 2026 is going to be very special for Maruti Suzuki. The company will start the new year with its first fully electric SUV Maruti e Vitara. This vehicle will directly compete with Hyundai Creta Electric. Maruti e Vitara will come in two variants. One will have a 49 kWh battery and 142 bhp motor, while the other will have a larger 61 kWh battery and 172 bhp power. The larger battery pack will be capable of delivering a range of around 543 km.

Maruti e Vitara is not going to lag behind anyone in terms of features. It will have 10-way power adjustable driver seat, 10.1-inch digital instrument cluster, 40:20:40 split rear seats and Infinity by Harman sound system. For safety, it will be provided with 7 airbags and Level-2 ADAS technology. However, the absence of a panoramic sunroof may be a bummer for some customers.
New Brezza Facelift will come in the second half of 2026
Maruti Brezza Facelift may be launched by the end of the second quarter of 2026. This SUV will get newly designed bumpers, new 16-inch alloy wheels and fresh color options. Features like 10.1 inch digital display and wireless mobile charger can be added to the cabin. No major changes will be made in the engine and gearbox.
Fronx Flex-Fuel: Preparing for the fuel of the future
Maruti Suzuki may also launch the Fronx Flex-Fuel version in the second half of 2026. This car will be capable of running on E85 i.e. a mixture of 85% ethanol and petrol. The government is preparing to introduce E30 petrol across the country by 2030 and Maruti has already taken steps in this direction.

New electric MPV will come at the end of the year
By the end of 2026, Maruti Suzuki may launch its second electric car, which will be an electric MPV. It will be built on the e Vitara platform and has been codenamed YMC within the company. This MPV can directly challenge the Kia Carens Clavis Electric. Its possible range can be up to 500 km.
