Maruti Suzuki has introduced a special edition of its popular Swift model, called the Swift Blitz, just in time for the festive season.
Available exclusively at Maruti Arena dealers, this edition aims to boost sales of the hatchback’s lower-spec variants for a limited time, as per Autocar.
The Swift Blitz comes in five different variants: LXI, VXI, VXI AMT, VXI(O), and VXI(O) AMT. In addition to the standard features, the Blitz includes stylish enhancements such as a rear underbody spoiler, a boot spoiler, fog lamps, illuminated door sills, door visors, and side mouldings.
Maruti is offering this impressive kit, valued at Rs 49,848, for free, making the Swift Blitz priced between Rs 6.49 lakh and Rs 8.02 lakh. Launched earlier this year, the Swift recently added CNG-powered variants.
It is powered by a 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine that delivers 82 bhp and 112 Nm of torque on petrol and 70 hp and 112 Nm on CNG. The petrol version features a standard 5-speed manual gearbox, with a 5-speed AMT option available on all variants except the base model.
The Swift Blitz is Maruti’s fifth special edition launched for the festive season, following the Baleno Regal Edition, Grand Vitara Dominion Edition, Wagon R Waltz Edition, and Ignis Radiance Edition.
