Maruti has introduced a new ‘Z-series’ engine in the fourth generation of the Swift, featuring a three-cylinder design. This new engine produces 60 kW of power and 111.7 Nm of torque. This engine is available with both 5-speed manual and AMT transmission options.

Meanwhile, the Tata Punch is powered by a 1.5-litre Revotron engine that produces 87.8 PS of power and 115 Nm of torque. As for the second engine option, it gets a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine that produces 120 PS of power and 170 Nm of torque. As a third engine option, the car is equipped with a 1.2-litre CNG engine, which produces 73.4 PS of power and 103 Nm of torque.

Features

Maruti has provided modern and premium features in the new Swift. It gets audio system with six speakers, front tweeters, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment, new suspension system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Suzuki Connect, hydraulic clutch, rear AC vents and two charging ports for rear passengers.

The ex-showroom price of the Maruti Swift car starts at around ₹ 5.79 lakh and goes up to ₹ 8.80 lakh for the top variant. The ex-showroom price of the Tata Punch starts at Rs 5.60 lakh, while the top variant goes up to Rs 10.55 lakh.
