Mass march of Bhanga Bazaar Sanatani Oikya Manch demanding protection of persecuted Hindus in Bangladesh.
Assam Sribhoomi (Karimganj) Correspondent Dainik Read: It is noteworthy that people have raised their voice against the brutal oppression of traditional Hindus in Bangladesh under Bhanga Bazaar Shribhoomi (Karimganj) district. On November 28 (Thursday) at around 3 pm, a huge protest procession took out from Durga Bari located in front of Bada Bhanga Motor Stand. Along with Chargola, Barigram, people from Bada Bhanga Bazaar area, Badarpur also joined the procession.
The procession starts from Durga Bari and reaches the India-Bangladesh border via Nandpur and strongly condemns the Yunus government of Bangladesh at the border and gives a strong warning to the communal fundamentalists of Bangladesh. Also, a demand was made for the unconditional release of Bangladesh ISKCON's religious guru Shripad Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari Maharaj.
North Sribhoomi (Karimganj) MLA Kamalaksh De Purkayastha, social worker Munni Chhetri, Bidhu Bhushan Dutta, Banoj Chakraborty, Rajes Das, Bidhan Das, Shambhu Das Chaudhary, Kripamay Dhar, Mrinamoy Dev, Sajal Das, Debashish Das, Biplab Das, Siddhant Das etc. Present in the procession were people from Bhanga area including Deepan Pal, Dhruv Dutt Rai, Sukumar De, Pradeep De, Jhantu Chand, Kanchan Das. Elite people and lovers of Sanatan Dharma were included.
