Massive fire at petrol pump in Rajgarh’s Pachor, 12 people burnt, 12 bike-tankers burnt to ashes

Big news has come out from Pachor city of Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh, where a massive fire broke out at Chunnalal-Munnalal Bharat Petrol Pump located in the middle of the city on Monday (May 11) night. 12 people got burnt in the accident, while 12 motorcycles and a petrol tanker were burnt to ashes. The cause of the fire has not been revealed yet. The police is busy investigating the entire matter.

The incident is being reported on Monday (May 11) at around 8.30 pm. At that time there was a long queue of vehicles at the pump to fill petrol. During this time suddenly a fire broke out. Within no time the fire took a huge form and within a few minutes many motorcycles were engulfed by it.

According to eyewitnesses, a bike rider had come out after filling petrol, when suddenly the fire broke out. In panic, he ran away leaving the bike and the bike which was on fire rolled and reached near the petrol tanker. After this the fire spread rapidly and engulfed other vehicles parked nearby.

There was chaos in the petrol pump premises after the accident. People started running here and there to save their lives. Many people tried to move their bikes, but the fire spread so fast that no one had a chance to recover. Within a few seconds the entire petrol pump was engulfed in smoke and flames.

Petrol pump employees immediately started efforts to extinguish the fire with the help of fire safety equipment. As soon as the information was received, police and fire brigade teams also reached the spot. After hard work the fire could be controlled.

Balram’s father Kapil Gurjar, resident of Old Pachor, got seriously burnt in the accident, while 11 other people were also injured. All the injured have been admitted to Pachor, Shajapur and private hospitals. One seriously injured person has been referred to Indore. At present, the cause of the fire has not been known. The police is investigating the entire matter. After this accident, there is an atmosphere of panic in the entire Pachor city.
