Massive fire due to cylinder blast in Bokaro, more than 15 shops burnt to ashes

A horrific accident took place in Siwandih area of ​​Bokaro district of Jharkhand on Tuesday evening, when a fire suddenly broke out after an explosion in a gas cylinder. The incident is being reported near Marafari police station area. According to eyewitnesses, the fire spread so fast that within no time a large part of the surrounding area got engulfed by it. Within a few minutes, flames became visible far and wide, causing panic in the entire area.

What did the local people say?

Local people said that gas cylinder refilling work is done near the spot. It is suspected that carelessness was taken during refilling, due to which the fire broke out. After the fire, explosions started happening one after the other in the cylinders kept there. It is being told that during this time about 7 to 8 cylinders burst, due to which the fire became more dangerous.

According to the information, the fire started from inside a tent house. The flammable materials kept there helped the fire spread rapidly. The gas cylinders and other materials kept in the tent house started burning, after which the fire reached the nearby shops. In this horrific fire, more than 15 shops were completely burnt to ashes. Apart from tent houses, these include many small and big shops. Although it is a matter of relief that there is no news of any casualty in this incident, but some people have suffered minor injuries.

An atmosphere of chaos in the area

After the explosion, there was an atmosphere of chaos in the area. There was a long jam on the four-lane road, due to which the road leading from Marafari area towards the station was also blocked. Many vehicles were stranded for hours and traffic was completely affected. The police who reached the spot had to struggle a lot to control the crowd.

Fire department teams had to work hard to control the fire. After about an hour of hard work and with the help of several fire engines, the fire could finally be controlled. The administration has started investigating the matter. Local people allege that gas refilling work was being done illegally and without safety standards, due to which this accident occurred. Police have said that after investigation, strict action will be taken against the culprits.
