Massive fire in Dulabhchhada of Shribhoomi district, Sadanand Sinha got seriously burnt while saving cattle.
Shribhoomi: A massive fire incident has come to light in Adarsh Krishnanagar village located near Dulabhchhada under Ramakrishnanagar assembly constituency of Shribhoomi district. C.V.P. A sudden fire broke out in the cowshed of former journalist Jagdanand Sinha, located on the east side of the school, at around 2 o’clock last night. Within no time the fire engulfed various parts of the cow shed. As soon as the fire broke out, Jagadanand Sinha’s elder brother Sadanand Sinha moved forward to save the cattle. Burnt out of form. It is being told that most of his body has been burnt in the fire.
With the help of family members and local people, he was immediately taken to the nearby Dulabhchhada Hospital. But due to lack of adequate treatment facilities there, his condition started deteriorating, after which he was referred to Silchar Medical College Hospital. Due to communication problems, he was later hurriedly shifted to Makunda Hospital, where he is undergoing treatment.
Here, as soon as the news of the fire spread, the local villagers reached the spot at around 2:30 in the night and started trying to control the fire, in which they were successful to a great extent. Later at 2:45 pm Ratabari police station reached the spot. Ramakrishnanagar Fire Service reached the spot via Vidyanagar at 3:15 pm and completely controlled the fire.
Initially the cause of the fire has not been known. The damage is being assessed and the incident is under investigation. It is noteworthy that in recent times there has been an atmosphere of panic among the people due to several fire incidents in the area. Regarding this, the local residents have drawn the attention of the administration demanding the establishment of a fire brigade station in Dulabhchhada soon.
