Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a Tata Group company, signed a multi-year deal with Air France-KLM on Thursday. TCS will assist the airline in becoming the world’s most data-centric airline. Over the next three years, TCS will migrate the airline group’s data to the cloud as part of its modernization efforts.

The advanced data infrastructure will enable better use of data to enhance operations, make informed decisions, improve functionality, and increase efficiency.
TCS has teamed up with Air France-KLM for 30 years in order to increase reliability, presence on social media, customer service and e-commerce. The IT company’s digital innovation like digital queuing in airport lounges and collection of boarding passes through social media have improved the passenger convenience.
The IT company will assist KLM to move its critical systems and core business data to cloud which cover important areas like flight operations, passenger information, aircraft maintenance, and the airlines e-commerce platforms.
The data will also help the airline streamline its operations with innovations aimed at providing customers a better flying experience.
