Material (Matar Mushroom Vegetable)

Mushroom-200 grams
Peas-2/3 cup
Tomato-3 medium size
Onion-1 medium size
Green chilli-1 Coriander powder-1 teaspoon
Red chilli powder-1/2 teaspoon
Garlic paste-2/3 teaspoon
Ginger paste-2/3 tsp, Refined oil-3 tbsp
Water and salt – as per requirement

Method

  1. First of all, place a pan or wok on the gas and add some oil to it and heat it. After this, add finely chopped onion and fry for some time.
  2. Then add ginger-garlic paste to it and fry on low flame until the aroma goes away. Now add chopped tomatoes and green chillies to it.
  3. Stir well and add turmeric, red chilli and coriander powder. Mix these things well and keep frying until the oil separates from the onion-tomato masala mixture.
  4. Then add chopped mushrooms and peas to it. Stir well and fry for 2 to 3 minutes. Now add water and salt as required. Mushrooms will release water so add water accordingly.
  5. If there is too much water in the peas or mushrooms even after cooking, reduce the water by boiling the curry without the lid for a few more minutes.
  6. Now cover the pan and cook until the peas become soft. When everything is cooked well, sprinkle garam masala powder and mix well.
