Mathura Road Accident News: 6 buses and 2-3 cars caught fire in a horrific accident on Yamuna Expressway in Mathura. This accident happened at around 4 in the morning. According to District Magistrate Chandra Prakash Singh, two people have died and many have been injured in this accident. The injured have been admitted to hospitals in Agra and Mathura. Bhagwan Das, a resident of a nearby village, said that after the accident, about 20 ambulances sent 100-150 injured people to the hospital.

Bhagwan Das also told that when the accident happened, there was very little fog. After the vehicles collided with each other, it felt as if a bullet had been fired, and then there were loud explosions. After the entire incident, the people of the village immediately reached the spot and started helping. Two-three cars and six buses were burnt, and due to dense fog the vehicles collided one after another. The accident happened near Mile Stone 127 of Baldev police station area.

As soon as the information was received, the District Magistrate, Senior Superintendent of Police and other officers reached the spot. At present, the rescue operation is going on, in which teams of police, fire brigade, NHAI and SDRF are busy extinguishing the fire and taking the injured to the hospital. Amit Kumar of the ambulance staff said that many vehicles have caught fire, especially private buses. Information about how many people have been injured is not yet available.

According to an eyewitness, first an accident occurred, after which three to four buses caught fire. At the time of the accident, the buses were fully loaded and passengers were present on all the seats. The eyewitness told that he was sleeping at the time of the accident. Suddenly the fire spread with a loud noise, causing panic among the passengers.
