Maulana Arshad Madani furious at Modi's Waqf statement, 'Tomorrow we will not even say Namaz's custom'

Waqf Bill: After getting a huge majority in the by-elections of Maharashtra Assembly and many states, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had targeted Congress over the Waqf Bill. The PM had said that there should be no such thing as Waqf Bill. Congress has made this only for vote bank. There is anger among some Muslims of Bihar over his statement. In the conference of Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind on the matter, Maulana Arshad Madani said that I was very surprised at Prime Minister Modi's talk about Waqf. Tomorrow Modi will say that Namaz is not a tradition. I want to clarify that we have objection to the issue of amendment in Waqf.

We have been fighting for freedom since Congress was not even born: Madani
Madani said, whatever Allah said is right, what the Prophet said is customary. It's surprising how Modi ji is getting it wrong. Tomorrow they will say that Zakat and Namaz are not in the tradition, so will we stop that too? This is not fair at all. PM says that Waff Board is the contribution of Congress, then he should know that we fought for freedom even before Congress was born.

'Our role with the country is 145 years old'
Maulana said that the aim of Congress was not the independence of the country. They were built so that coordination could be created between the British government and the people of the country. In such a situation, if someone thinks that the customs of the country have been created only by Hindus, then he does not know anything about the world. Our relationship with the country is 145 years old. There is no mother's son who would reject it.

'Show someone driving a bulldozer on a house'
Madani said on the bulldozer action that if one person did a wrong thing, the entire family was being punished for it. Allah has accepted our words and now shows someone driving a bulldozer on some house. The Supreme Court judge who gave this decision was not a Muslim but a Hindu. The court's decision has created a disturbance in the mood of some people. When we repeatedly went to the Supreme Court, we got justice.
