However, it was Jennifer Lawrence who inspired her to pursue acting.
The 28-year-old revealed that starring in The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping feels like a full-circle moment.
She credited the original film and Jennifer with inspiring her to become an actor.
Speaking to Peopleshe said “I credit the original Hunger Games movie a lot with inspiring me to want to be an actor, honestly.”
The actress, who is prompting her work in Audible Original The Summer Oath, praised the Oscar winner’s performance.
She commented “In those movies, she gave a performance so singularly excellent and weird, and she painted a true individual that was not at all neutralized by the genre.”
The Hunger Games is a three-part book series which was adapted into movies and the sixth installment, The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reapingwill feature Maya.
