Mayawati opens front against Amit Shah; Announcement of nationwide movement against the statement on Ambedkar

Mayawati opened front against Amit ShahRecently, there is a political turmoil across the country regarding the statement given by Home Minister Amit Shah on Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. On one hand, everyone including Congress is accusing Amit Shah of insulting Ambedkar, while on the other hand BJP has accused Congress of distorting Amit Shah's statement. Meanwhile, former UP CM and BSP supremo Mayawati has opened a front against Shah. He has announced a nationwide movement against the statement given on Ambedkar.

BSP supremo Mayawati wrote on social media platform He is revered like God. The disrespect shown to him by Shri Amit Shah hurts the hearts of the people.” He said, “People of all sections of the country are very upset, angry and agitated due to the words spoken by him in the Parliament regarding such a great man. In this sequence, Ambedkarite BSP has demanded him to withdraw his statement and repent, which is still not being implemented.”

Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the author of the original book in the form of an ultra-humanistic and welfare constitution for the self-respect and human rights of the Dalits, deprived and other neglected people of the country, is revered like God. Mayawati further wrote in the X Post, “In such a situation, if the demand is not met, then BSP talked about raising its voice in the entire country. That is why now the party has decided to organize a nationwide movement on 24 December 2024 in support of this demand. On that day, completely peaceful protests will be held at all the district headquarters of the country. He said, “In the absence of their true messiah Baba Saheb, who fought hard throughout his life for the Dalits/Bahujans to stand on their feet and live with self-respect and gave them many legal rights including reservation, the interest and welfare of his followers will be at stake. It is the biggest honor to which BSP is dedicated.”

The BSP supremo wrote, “Therefore, if parties like Congress, BJP etc. cannot respect Baba Saheb wholeheartedly, then they should not disrespect him either. Because of Baba Saheb, the day SC, ST and OBC classes got legal rights in the Constitution, they also got heaven for seven births on the same day.”

3. In such a situation, if the demands are not met then BSP talked about raising its voice in the entire country.
