Cineverse has released the official trailer for Misdirectionthe upcoming heist thriller led by Superman star Frank Grillo and Black Widow star Olga Kurylenko. The movie will be available to rent or own on digital platforms starting on February 10, 2026.
“The film follows a couple driven to carry out a series of high-end heists to pay off a dangerous mob debt. When their latest break-in — targeting a prominent defense attorney — spirals out of control, the pair find themselves caught in a web of secrets, deception, and deadly consequences,” reads the official synopsis.

What happens in the Misdirection trailer?
The video features Kurylenko’s Sarah, who devises a plan to rob the house of Grillo’s character with her partner. However, their heist encounters a problem when Grillo’s character comes home sooner than expected. The trailer teases Sarah’s secret connection to Grillo’s character, which creates tension and distrust between Sarah and her heist partner. The cast also includes Oliver Trevena as Jason, Landa as Julie Smalles, and Vladislav Lapidus as Jack.
Misdirection is directed by Kevin Lewis (Willy’s Wonderland) from a screenplay written by Lacy McClory. Executive producers are RJ Collins, Aliethea D’Angelo, Milos Djukelic, Vladimir Dukelic, Marcus Englefield, Fred Hedman, Vladislav Lapidus, George Lee, and Eduard Osipov. It is produced by Ivana Panic and Steve Shapiro.
“Misdirection is a home-invasion thriller centered on a desperate couple who, after a string of high-end break-ins, find themselves ensnared in a deadly game of cat and mouse—where the tables turn, and the hunters become the hunted,” Lewis said in a statement. “Working alongside Frank Grillo, Olga Kurylenko, and Oliver Trevena was an extraordinary experience that elevated this neo-noir thriller at every turn.”
