Under the 100-day “TB Free India Campaign”, the medical mobile van was flagged off at Upazila Hospital Bhadra. On this occasion, a program was organized under the leadership of PMO Dr. Sandeep Punia, in which MLA Mr. Sanjeev Beniwal was also present.
During the program, kits were distributed to TB patients and they were motivated to stay healthy and take regular treatment. Officials said that the aim of this campaign is to provide better treatment and nutritional support to TB patients.
Through medical mobile vans, TB symptoms will be identified in remote areas and timely treatment will be provided to the needy patients. This will further strengthen the reach of health services in rural areas.
The campaign is part of the National TB Elimination Program (NTEP) of the Government of India, which aims to make the country TB-free by 2025.
The Health Department has appealed to the general public that if anyone shows symptoms of TB, then get tested immediately and start treatment on time.
