Famous Pakistani actress Meera became emotional while discussing marriage in a recently released interview. The video clip that has taken the rounds on social media shows a private TV anchor asking her, “You know, your friend Neelam Muneer got married, when do you plan to marry?” However, Meera gave him a shrug.
She then said, “It’s a shame” when the anchor asked her, “Why is that shame, about Neelam Muneer’s wedding or about your own upcoming marriage?” “I’m regretful about the delay in my own marriage,” responded Meera.
As continued the nagging questions of the anchor, Meera coolly snapped, “Haven’t found anyone. No one wants to marry me, and I don’t know why that is.” Finally, Meera got up and walked off the interview saying, “No one wants to marry me.”
On the contrary, she hurled back at them for their sewage questioning, which has been criticized a lot on social media. They remarked that the questions were absolutely irrelevant and made Meera emotional.
The incident opened discussion about the privacy that needs to be respected by the celebrities and respectful questioning through interviews in the media.
