Stuck in the traffic, this inspector had threatened the car rider and said, ‘I will urinate in his mouth’. After this video went viral, Aligarh SSP had put him on the line. But now a new twist has come in this matter. Female Inspector Rachna Rathi broke her silence and told the reality of that night.

The incident took place at 7 pm on December 28 at Abulen Market in Meerut, the video of which surfaced the next day. In the video, Rachna Rathi was seen angrily beating the young man in the car with a belt and threatening to send him to jail. Investigation revealed that she had left Aligarh for Muzaffarnagar on the pretext of government work, but reached Meerut for shopping with friends. There are 14 challans pending on the I-20 car in which she was traveling, the total amount of which is Rs 43,782.

‘Would she have remained silent if I touched her breast?’

In a special interview given to a media organization, Inspector Rachna Rathi told the entire story of the incident. She said she was taking her 75-year-old ailing grandmother to the doctor. Then a car came the wrong way and blocked the way. Rachna alleges that when she interrupted, the young man in the car got down and hit her breast. At the same time, the woman sitting in the car abused him. Rachna said, ‘If someone pushes me or touches my body, I will do something. However, I apologize for the wrong words that came out of my mouth.”

Questions raised on uniform and society

Rachna Rathi clarified that she was not in full uniform at that time, but was wearing lower and jacket. Making a sharp attack on the attitude of the society, he said that when a girl comes home beaten or raped, people make an issue. But if the girl retorts, people start questioning her character and job. She said that she did not know that family, but their mistake was shown only to tarnish the image of the police. At present, departmental investigation is going on on the orders of Aligarh SSP Neeraj Singh Jadaun.
