An 18-year-old youth standing outside his house was shot by bike-borne assailants, after which he was admitted to the hospital in a critical condition. After the incident, the accused fled from the spot and the police has started investigation.

Violence increased due to minor dispute, panic in the area
The incident took place in a street of Saddiqnagar, where a young man named Aman was standing outside the house. Meanwhile, he got a phone call and went out into the street. According to eyewitnesses, at the same time two youths riding a bike reached there and started arguing with Aman over some issue.
Within no time the dispute escalated and the accused opened fire on the young man. As soon as he was shot, he fell on the ground, while the attackers fled from the spot. This incident, which took place in broad daylight, created an atmosphere of fear among the local people and increased concerns about security arrangements.
Family members’ allegations regarding hospital treatment
The injured youth was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where his condition was said to be critical. After first aid, he was referred to the medical college, where he is undergoing treatment under the supervision of doctors. According to doctors, his condition remains critical.
The family members have accused the hospital administration of negligence. He says that the injured did not get timely treatment and had to wait for a long time. Family members allege that the treatment process was expedited only after police information, which is raising questions on the system.
