In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Tannaz explained why she married him, saying, “He worked in theatre. I liked the way he acted, worked, and sang, and that’s how we ended up getting married.” Interestingly, the couple had a significant age gap of 18 years.

In the same interview, Tannaz revealed that the age difference became an issue in their relationship. She explained that being much younger, her expectations didn’t align with those of her older partner. She also shared that she was ostracized by her Parsi community after marrying Currim.

After her divorce, Tannaz began her career in the TV industry. Later, during the shoot of Gurukul in 2006, she met Bakhtiyaar Irani, and the two fell in love. In 2007, they got married, and now they are blessed with two children, Zeus and Zara.
