Born on August 13, 1962, Anita made her debut in 1982 with the film Mehndi Rang Layegi and has remained active in the industry ever since. In 1986, Anita married businessman Sunil Hingorani. Her husband made headlines in 2012 when he was accused of fraud. Reports claimed that a friend of Sunil’s alleged he borrowed a whopping Rs 1 crore to open a restaurant but failed to repay the money. Additionally, Sunil was accused of embezzling around Rs 1 crore from a society fund. Following these accusations, the police arrested him, though he was later released on bail.
