Tara Singh Vachani, the daughter of Max Group’s billionaire founder Analjit Singh, is carving her own niche in the business world, leading her father’s company to new heights as its Vice-Chairperson. Tara Vachani, who plays a key role in Max India’s business operations, along with handling the group’s social responsibility ventures, has received recognition for her contributions at the World Economic Forum, which named her a member of the Young Global Leaders in 2020.

Who is Tara Singh Vachani?

Tara Singh Vachani is the daughter of Analjit Singh, the billionaire founder of Max Group. Tara studied strategy management at the prestigious London School of Economics and has a degree in studied politics and south Asian studies at the National University of Singapore. She is marred to Sahil Vachani, the Managing Director and CEO of Max Estates– a part of the Max Group. The couple have two daughters.

Tara’s father, Analjit Singh, who has a net worth of $1.1 billion, as of January 9, 2025, according to Forbes, is the founder chairman of Max Group, a conglomerate with interests in life insurance, healthcare, and real estate. Analjit is also the founder of Leeu Collection, an international collection of boutique hotels, and was also the Non-Executive Chairman of Vodafone India.

Apart from serving as the Vice-Chairperson of Max India Foundation, Tara Singh Vachani is also the founder and executive chairperson of Antara Senior Living, the first Indian venture to create vibrant residential communities, offering a lifestyle along with care for the elderly, and challenging the stereotypes about aging prevalent in our society.

In 2018, Tara Singh Vachani, now a renowned businesswoman in her own right, was featured as one of the ’40 under 40′ leaders in The Economic Times, and in 2020, she was named a member of Young Global Leaders by the World Economic Forum.
