Similarly, in South Indian cinema, there is an actress who is a mother of twin boys, known not only for nurturing her children but also for her stellar performances. Today, she charges no less than Rs 10 crore for a role.

We are talking about Nayanthara, wife of Vignesh Shivan. The couple tied the knot on June 9, 2022, and are blessed with twin boys, whom they named Uyir RudroNeel N Shivan and Ulag Daiwik N Shivan. Nayanthara and Vignesh welcomed their sons via surrogacy in 2022. After their birth, Nayanthara resumed her work, featuring in several high-profile films, including Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan. In the film, Nayanthara played the lead actress opposite SRK. If reports are to be believed, she charged Rs 10 crore for Jawan.

Following the film’s success, she appeared in another project that also became controversial. The film, titled Annapoorni: The Goddess of Food, saw her raise her fee. Nayanthara charged Rs 11 crore for the movie, which was released in late 2023. Despite the controversies surrounding it, the film was a hit, although it earned only Rs 5.70 crore at the box office.  It was also her lates film, which was her 75th film.

Meanwhile, Nayanthara was reportedly offered a cameo in Chennai Express, but she was more interested in taking on a larger role. As for her net worth, GQ reports it stands at an impressive Rs 183 crore, underscoring her remarkable success in the entertainment industry.

Her collection of luxury cars is equally noteworthy, featuring models such as the BMW 5 Series, Mercedes GLS 350 D, Ford Endeavour, BMW 7 Series, and Innova Crysta.
